European Championship in Germany!
After our neighbours last hosted the World Cup in 2006, it's now the turn of the European Championship in 2024! The tournament will take place at ten German venues, including Berlin's Olympic Stadium, Munich's Football Arena and Hamburg's Volksparkstadion. The former has the largest capacity for spectators with 70,000 seats. This is where the grand final will take place on 14. July 2024. The participants had to qualify for the tournament either in qualifying matches or in the so-called playoffs - with the exception of the German team, which is guaranteed a place at the European Championship due to its host status. And the best thing about this huge sporting event? The European Championship is a wonderful occasion to invite people to a party!
Strong as a bear, round as a ball and more
This year's mascot is called Albärt and is a cute teddy bear in a football jersey. Children from UEFA's Football in Schools programme and fans could vote for the name on the UEFA website. A selection of fruity gummy bears would make a great addition to your snack buffet to go with this bearish contemporary! Another official part of the European Championship is the football called FUSSBALLLIEBE. The design is meant to embody "the joy of football and the enthusiasm surrounding the tournament". You can get your own - edible - balls for your party! Spicy salmiac balls, crispy cheese balls and other spherical treats fit well into the snack selection. Healthy nuts, crisps with dip, tasty liquorice, chocolate and biscuits complete the range for your guests. Creamy ice cream with toppings such as mini marshmallows or colourful sugar sprinkles will be especially popular in the warm temperatures of June and July.

Cheering, chanting and victory dances make you thirsty! And when it's summer heat, it's time to cool down. For your football party you can choose from our 5 litre kegs of different brands, sparkling wine spritzers, fruit-flavoured soft drinks, energy drinks and a wide selection of sparkling wine and champagne to toast the victory. For a cool way to cater for lots of guests, we also offer home-made punch bowls. The liquid ingredients are of course available at Scandinavian Park!
